USAF Thunderbirds F-16 Training - June 2005

         Several days before the start of the 2005 Air Show, Airport Firefighters received training on the F-16 flown by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. Some of the topics covered included how to pin the landing gear, location of the pins, cockpit access, and both interior and exterior shutdown of the aircraft. All Airport Firefighters who were scheduled to work the air show received the training on Thunderbird 8 from the aircraft crew chief.
