| In August 2005, aircraft fuelers from US Airports received fire extinguisher training in order to be prepared in case of a fire on or near the fuel trucks or aircraft. The training was conducted at the request of their employer, and was taught by airport firefighters behind the fire station. The fuelers were trained on the proper usage of the fire extinguishers that are available to them, and were given the opportunity to put out small fuel fires. The on duty crew stood by with Rescue 2 for safety. |
