In August 2007, aircraft fuelers from US Airports received their annual fire extinguisher training. The training is designed to teach them how to properly use the extinguishers available to them should a small fire ignite near the fuel trucks or aircraft. After receiving verbal instruction from the AFD Training Captain, the fuelers were given the opportunity to put out small fuel fires behind the firehouse. The on duty crew once again used Rescue 2 as the safety vehicle for this training.
